Ein weiteres Highlight war natürlich unserer Vegas Kurztrip. Wir haben uns super spontan dazu entschieden für ein paar Tage nach Vegas zu fahren. Natürlich haben wir zwischendurch angehalten, um ein paar Bilder zu machen. Das typisch amerikanischen Motel bei Sonnenuntergang war DIE perfekte Location. Allein der ca. 4,5 Stündige Weg mit dem Auto dorthin ist eine Reise wert. Unbedingt Mittags losfahren und bei Dunkelheit ankommen, ihr werdet vom Lichtermehr verzaubert sein!  Auch in Vegas hat es sich bewehrt, ein Auto zu haben. Die Stadt erscheint auf den ersten Blick nicht so groß, die Wege sind aber doch zu Fuß weiter als gedacht. Die Stadt ist auf jeden Fall sehenswert und ziemlich beeindrucken, mich hat es aufgrund der riesigen Hotels ein bisschen an Dubai erinnert. Wir haben im Wynn gewohnt und wie fast in jedem Hotel gibt es ein Casino, in dem zu jeder Tages und Nachtzeit gespielt wird. Ich hatte das Gefühl in Las Vegas spielt die Zeit keine Rolle. Denn wenn man möchte, kann man auch Landesgrenzen überwinden und einfach zwischen dem Eifelturm und Venedig in ein paar Metern hin und her spazieren! (;

I’m already back in Germany missing the warm weather, the beach and the palm trees. I had an unbelievable time in L.A., we discovered so many different new places! But I really recommend you to rent a car to be as flexible as possible. Every time I visit L.A. I underestimate how big this city is. From West Hollywood (our fav part) to Venice Beach it’s a 30, up to 45 mins drive. Everyone has a car in the city so the traffic is super bad sometimes.

So we decided to rent a car via SIXT US. We already worked together with them a couple of times in Europe and just made the best experiences. We have chosen a white Range Rover and that was definitely the best decision. Unbelievable but true, we managed to pack the car with all our luggages and it was A LOT.

We spend out first days driving around L.A., discovering the different parts of the city and of course went a lot of shopping. You should visit the Fairfax flea market in West Hollywood and all this little vintage shops on Santa Monica Blvd. You’ll find the best vintage treasures, shirts, jewelry and interior.

The latest blogger hotspot is the Beverly Hills Hotel. This dreamy location in all shades of pink and white will make you feel the old Hollywood flair. Swing by for breakfast or lunch, the pancakes and waffles are delicious. Celebrity watching included (;

One of my highlights was our 3-days road trip to vegas. We had so much time left until Coachella so we decided to pack our Range Rover again to go on a really spontaneous trip. The 4,5 h drive to the desert is also so worth it! Of course we stopped along the way for some pictures. The old motel sign with the sunset in the background was the perfect location but also the landscape is really impressive! Sometimes we felt like being on another planet.

You should definitely enter Vegas by night, you’ll be captivated by all the lights.

And again we experienced how important it was to have a car. First we had the feeling that the city is not that big and started to walk around. Bad idea, the famous vegas strip is 7 km long!

We stayed two nights at the Wynn Hotel and of course they had a huge 24 h casino so you can play all day and all night long. We lost at least 100 dollars each but it was fun though! After three days in the city I kind of lost my feeling for day and night and time in general because it never really gets dark. We also can walk between ‚different cities‘ like Venedig and Paris by foot. They have built their own little „Europe“ there.

All in all Vegas is worth a visit and super impressive, it reminded me of Dubai in a way.

After some intensive days in Vegas it was already time for Coachella festival! So we headed back to L.A. to change our suitcases. Placing all the luggages in the trunk again was like playing Tetris 😀 But somehow it worked out in the end and we made it to Palm desert after 6 h. Stop over at In-and-Out Burger of course was mandatory!

The following weekend was amazing as every year, the music, the people, the atmosphere inspires me for three years now. And I’m already looking forward to next year (Beyoncé promised to come!). If you want to learn more about Coachella please check out my older guide and outfit posts.

Short tip for the way back to L.A.: We just discovered the Premium Designer Outlet Palm Springs with brands like Gucci, Saint Laurent and Dolce & Gabbana. So save some time and nerves for another little shopping stop (;
